At Task Engineering Training, candidates don't need to have a degree in Construction to work as an Engineer on construction sites.
We have designed a series of bespoke training that provides a hands-on practical experience and prepares you for the industry.
Site Engineering - Setting Out Engineering 6-8 Weeks
The 6-8 weeks Setting Out course is our most popular course. Candidates are taught Site Engineering and use of Levelling, EDM, Pipe Laser, GPS. Candidates who attend it finds it transformational.
Once they have attended the course and learnt how to carry out site engineering solutions, delegates feel confident and inspired to join the construction industry.
The quality of tuition and practical experience gained makes candidates productive and all rounded Site Engineer. This course can be completed in 4 month of weekend lessons.
Professional Computing and IT Skills 2-3 weeks (Microsoft Office, Auto CAD, BIM)
Access to a quality computing education encourages not only competency in digital skills, but also self-confidence in a candidate’s ability to liaise with technology. Opportunities to grow digital skills in school is particularly important for those without access to technology.
At Task Engineering training, we cover the following sotfware:
Microsoft Excel – Data transfer from EDM to computer and vise versa
Microsoft words – Site diaries, daily allocation sheets, permits to dig
AutoCAD basics – Understanding drawings and CAD commands
Microsoft Outlook – email communications, meeting schedules, google team
CSCS - Construction Skills Certification Scheme
Here at TASK Engineering Training, we are proud to offer the Level 1 CSCS Green Card Course via a range of learning options. We offer live online learning with tutor-led interaction, blended learning within our training centre, self-study, and e-learning. However best you learn, we can teach you in a way that ensures you get the most from your course.
Manual Handling
Our manual handling training courses are designed to support employees responsible for transporting heavy loads by hand (including lifting, putting down, pushing, pulling, carrying, or moving).
Site Management (SSSTS, SMSTS)
This industry leading course will provide delegates with insight into Site Supervisory and Management responsibilities with the knowledge required to give valuable assistance in safely managing a construction site.
Here at TASK Engineering, SMSTS (Site Manager Safety Training Scheme) classroom and remote online (virtual) courses are CITB accredited and delivered by our in-house qualified and experienced course instructors. We run the course to meet the needs of its delegates and it is delivered over 5 consecutive days or on a day release schedule (weekdays and weekends).
